Cell-Life is a South African not-for-profit that applies mobile technology to the management of HIV and other infectious diseases such as TB, working in partnership with more than 50 organisations across the civil and public health sectors. Its tools include iDART, software that supports pharmacists dispensing antiretroviral drugs accurately to growing patient numbers in the public healthcare system, alongside its Cellphones4HIV and EMIT (monitoring and evaluation) initiatives and a World AIDS Day cellphone information service.
