CellBazaar is a mobile classifieds and trading service from Bangladeshi operator Grameenphone that lets subscribers buy and sell goods and services over their phones. Sellers post an item’s details through the service and interested buyers get in touch directly to negotiate and arrange collection, effectively turning CellBazaar into a marketplace where buyers and sellers can find one another. The service could be reached by dialling a short code, using WAP or the internet on supported handsets, or by SMS on basic phones, at no extra cost beyond standard messaging or data charges, with a dedicated customer service line for support.
