‘Silenced to Deliver: Mobile Phone Manufacturing in China and the Philippines’, a report by Jenny Chan, Esther de Haan, Sara Nordbrand and Annika Torstensson, published by SOMO and SwedWatch as part of the European makeITfair campaign. The report investigates labour, human rights and environmental conditions in the factories that manufacture mobile phones for major brands, part of a wider campaign to inform young consumers about issues along the electronics supply chain and press companies to address them.
