This mobile phone service is aimed at containing HIV/AIDS (Rwanda), Avian Flu (Singapore), and other diseases. Health workers can use the service to submit critical information regarding any prevalent disease, relaying this information to central-health authorities. These authorities can then use this information how they see fit, as well as respond in real-time to these in-field workers through 2-way communications.
