A study by the UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (document E/ESCWA/ICTD/2009/15, 26 November 2009). It reviews the efforts of the international community, including the World Summit on the Information Society, the ITU and the Partnership on Measuring ICT for Development, to measure the information society, and proposes a set of indicators for measuring the impact of ICT on community development in ESCWA member countries.
