Mobile Life 2007

Report

A comprehensive social study examining how mobile phones have changed the way Europeans live was released in October 2007. The report, published by The Carphone Warehouse, touches on issues including trust, relationships and family and highlights national differences. Brits, for example, are leading the way in a text message revolution and a quarter of British young people are showing signs of being addicted to their mobile phones. This fourth “Mobile Life” study surveyed 5,000 people from five countries (in conjunction with the London School of Economics and Lord Philip Gould). For the first time it also quizzed mobile phone users in Spain, France, Germany and Sweden.
