OnTimeRx Pill Reminder

Project

OnTimeRx is a medication reminder service from US company AmeliaPlex that sends automated voice calls, emails or pager alerts to help people remember to take pills or attend to other scheduled routines, using an ordinary phone, smartphone, PDA or pager that subscribers already own. Users schedule reminders through a secure online account, and at the appointed time receive a call, text-to-voice message, email or page prompting them to take their medication, with subscribers including patients managing their own conditions and family members reminding elderly relatives. The service is aimed particularly at people who might otherwise miss doses, including one blind subscriber who described the twice-daily calls as invaluable for keeping to a strict anti-seizure medication schedule.
