FBC Bank in Zimbabwe is keeping abreast with the dynamic technological changes characterising the financial services after the bank launched a new service – FBC Virtual Service – concurrently with its 10th anniversary celebrations. The service is an e-channel delivery platform that hosts telephone, mobile and Internet banking. The mobile banking solution has two features, primarily the SMS banking service, which is similar to telephone banking as it allows customers to access their balances or mini-statements, transfer funds between accounts, pay selected bills and order new cheque books.
